Music

Originally coming from singing in metal bands, I used to use growling techniques and sing quite aggressively. As I get older, I prefer to write ambient piano music, therefore my singing style has become much calmer and I am more focused on instrumental elements. Desipte being a singer all my life, ironically I don’t really listen to music with vocals. I mostly listen to instrumental progressive acts such as Animals as Leaders, Plini, Tigran Hamasyan, or just pure classical composers like Chopin and Ravel - who I consider my biggest influences to this day.

When it comes to production, I mainly use piano, guitar and soundscape to write music. For writing vocals it’s a bit of a different approach, I prefer to ‘imagine’ it in my head than getting help from other instruments. I mix my own songs, mixing is a form of art and I want to have full control of my creations in all aspects. Still, it’s always a learning and challenging process.

I’ve been experimenting a lot musically for the past years, especially after moving to Berlin. Core elements are always ambient, classical and progressive. I generally gravitate towards very technical music, literally and emotionally.
